Luma X20 provides a professional CCTV solution for customers who want dependable security, clear visibility and a system that is properly designed around their property. Echo14 supplies, installs and supports Luma X20 systems as part of a complete CCTV service, from the initial survey through to ongoing care.

Every Luma X20 system is designed around the property and the way it needs to be used. Echo14 takes care of the detail, from camera positioning and system configuration through to a clear customer handover and ongoing support.
A CCTV system designed around your property
The right CCTV system depends on the property, the areas you want to cover and how you want to use the footage. Echo14 considers camera positions, lighting, viewing angles, recording requirements, network infrastructure and the appearance of the finished installation before recommending a Luma X20 system.

Why choose Luma X20?
Luma X20 brings together intelligent cameras, local recording and a straightforward mobile app. Instead of relying only on basic motion alerts, the system can identify people and vehicles and notify you about activity that matters.
The system is designed to make everyday security easier to understand and manage. You can view live cameras, review recorded events and share relevant video clips from the Luma View app, whether you are at home or away.
Intelligent people and vehicle detection
Luma X20 uses AI-based detection to help distinguish people and vehicles from general movement, making notifications more useful than basic motion alerts.
Simple access through Luma View
The Luma View app provides access to live video, recorded events and footage sharing from a compatible smartphone or tablet.
Flexible system design
The Luma X20 range includes different camera formats and recording options, allowing the system to be designed around the property, its coverage requirements and its finished appearance.
A Luma X20 system designed for your property
A typical Luma X20 installation may combine different camera types and recording options to suit the property. The final specification depends on the areas requiring coverage, the level of detail required, lighting conditions and the preferred method of viewing and recording footage.

PTZ cameras
A pan, tilt and zoom (PTZ) camera can provide flexible coverage of a larger area, such as the front of a property or a driveway. Depending on the selected model and configuration, it may be set with a home position and configured to track detected people or vehicles.
AI human and vehicle recognition
Luma X20 uses artificial intelligence (AI) to help identify people and vehicles, rather than treating every movement as the same. This helps reduce unnecessary alerts caused by general movement, changes in light or other activity within the camera’s view. The system can be configured to notify you when a person or vehicle is detected in a monitored area, with the exact behaviour depending on the camera, recorder and settings selected for the installation.
Real-time notifications
When relevant activity is detected, Luma X20 can send a real-time notification through the Luma View app. This allows you to respond promptly rather than having to check recorded footage later. Notifications can be tailored around the property, including the areas being monitored, the type of activity detected and the times when alerts should be active. An internet connection and suitable system configuration are required for remote notifications.
Local recording
The network video recorder (NVR) provides centralised recording for the CCTV system. Where supported by the selected camera, an optional microSD card can also provide local recording within the camera itself.
This creates an additional copy of relevant footage. If the NVR is removed, damaged or temporarily unavailable, footage may still be available from the camera, subject to the camera remaining powered, the microSD card capacity and the recording settings configured for the system.
Camera-based storage is an additional safeguard rather than a replacement for the NVR. The final recording arrangement, storage capacity and expected retention period will be confirmed as part of the system design.
Future flexibility
Where suitable, the system can be specified with spare recorder capacity to allow for future expansion. Compatibility with selected additional cameras or video doorbells should be confirmed as part of the system design.
